Heavy rain and headwinds

The weather turned against us today with very heavy downpours and headwinds. Everyone was soaked through. Did a big climb up into the lake district and now we are in Scotland. Character building was perhaps the best description of the conditions today. Arrived at the 3rd food stop before it was set up so we ended up running a bit low in the last 15 miles and resulted in an additional 6 miles taking our day total to 112. We are camping at Moffat rugby club tonight. Hope the rain stops soon.

Regards,

Rick
