450 miles done. Average speed just over 19mph today

Easier today and our group of four were first back with an average speed of just over 19.1mph. I never thought we be going this fast!!!

Route was good this morning but the section through Warrington, Wigan and St Helens was a bit urban with too many traffic lights.

Camp all set up and just waiting for dinner. Hungry!!!

The picture is of the lunch stop. The beer is not mine.

    Good to hear you’re pushing it! All that training, and you’re surprised your that quick?! It’s in your competitive blood Mr Perkins.
    We did 22 miles on single track tonight, and the beer was ours – well it’s a different social challenge altogether!!
    You’re making great progress keep it up. Hope the grub hits the spot.
